Defence Budget Increase Debate

The Eulenbourg will be debating an increase in the defence budget over the April session.  At present the budget for defence is set at 0.1% of GDP with 2% set for research and development.  The MODFA wishes to extend the Type 46 fleet by a further ship and develop a carrier with similar stealth technology along with a support/science vessel.  HIM Caprican Government has opened a preliminary public vote on the issue to gain the views of the people.
